ARC syndrome

  • Clinical picture: Lethal.
  • Syndromic: It does affect other organs.

The Arthrogryposis-Renal Dysfunction-Cholestasis (ARC) syndrome is a multisystem disorder that affects a large part of the organs. The life expectancy of people with this syndrome is less than one year.

At the skin level, it presents a generalized desquamation on the trunk and extremities. At the extracutaneous level, it presents brain malformations, renal tubular dysfunction, facial dysmorphism, among other symptoms.
