Ichthyosis-hypotrichosis syndrome


  • Beginning: Birth.
  • Clinical picture: Severe.
  • Syndromic: Associated with hair disorders.

This type of ichthyosis presents a desquamation similar to lamellar ichthyosis with hypohidrosis.

Hair loss is diffuse and progressive from childhood. Body hair is also sparse throughout the body.
