Ichthyosis-hypotrichosis syndrome
- Beginning: Birth.
- Clinical picture: Severe.
- Syndromic: Associated with hair disorders.
This type of ichthyosis presents a desquamation similar to lamellar ichthyosis with hypohidrosis.
Hair loss is diffuse and progressive from childhood. Body hair is also sparse throughout the body.
